I’m Aislinn, a Los Angeles-based creative who brings brands to life. With a background in fine art and several years of experience developing identities and marketing campaigns for clients in a range of categories including festivals, sportswear, hospitality, and tech, I come to the table with the tools to tell compelling brand stories that make consumers fall in love. As an obsessive music lover, I was fortunate to begin my career in music festivals and gain a true appreciation for the ways in which design and storytelling can shape a lived experience. Ever since, I have been passionate about connecting people with the things that bring them joy. While graphic design and illustration are my wheelhouse, my desire to dabble in all things creative has afforded me experience in a variety of practices, from copywriting to video editing. My understanding of all the effort that makes great work possible and past roles managing lean creative studios have shaped me into an effective leader and collaborator who implements clear communication and standardized processes to empower efficient teams. I seek out big problems, be it developing a tech-enabled retail concept or introducing the crypto-curious to the world of Web3, and I live for the iterative exercise of aligning a visual execution with a strategic vision. While Binance.US shares a technology stack with .COM, it is a separate entity. To help Binance.US differentiate itself, a refresh of the brand’s visual identity is critical. My ongoing project at .US is the development of a distinct visual brand that both plays nice with the look of the actual product and adequately captures the infinite possibility of crypto and Web3. In its most recent iteration, the visual brand leverages an assortment of 3D rendered objects, angular vector illustrations, and textured gradients. This melange of elements, although still situated in the distinctive black and yellow Binance palette, allows for the creation of collateral that feels more whimsical and inviting than the dark, flat graphics of the past. the Year in Review feature, the product team sought to leverage a similar guided experience to familiarize users with new product offerings. Now, when users navigate to a new feature, they will be sent into a flow of introductory information before they are able to take further action. The hope is that with more education up-front, users will be more likely to adopt a new feature. The resultant feature walked users through their year on Binance.US and used basic user data (such as top traded assets) to assign awards, before launching into a “Resolutions” section that highlighted some of the key product features they may want to explore in the year to come. As the US counterpart to .COM, Binance.US was alloted a number of these NFTs, grouped into three tiers of exclusivity, to sell in the US. Binance.US faced the challenge of having the opportunity to sell the NFTs without a mechanism within the platform for users to purchase them. Knowing that a launch of an NFT marketplace was on the product roadmap, but would not be available at the time Binance.COM would be going live with their sale, the team restructured the mechanics of the US sale so that the campaigns could launch in tandem. Depending on how much money a user deposited into their account during the “opt-in” period, they would be guaranteed access to purchase corresponding tiers of NFTs once Binance.US could support this action. To incentivize users to opt-in, we created a set of POAP NFTs that leveraged campaign imagery. Brand was tasked with solidifying these concepts with the development of names, logos, and visual expressions. This work culminated&nbsp;in the creation of pitch decks&nbsp;that fully communicate&nbsp;the vision of each outlet for the client to share with outside investors.&nbsp; Strada Café &amp; Market is an all-day outlet carrying items such as specialty coffee, grab-and-go sandwiches, and gelato. Since the hotel is frequently a destination for conferences and meetings, many hotel guests don't have the opportunity to explore the city. Streetsense was tasked with developing a brand for this unique offering and with translating that brand into an engaging, tech-enabled retail experience. The Locket aims to elevate apartment lobbies, office spaces, and college campuses, and the finalized brand exudes sophistication. After establishing a strong brand foundation and visual guidelines, Streetsense brought The Locket to life via a redesign of both machine components, a digital and print marketing plan for introducing The Locket as a new amenity within a multi-family community, and two animated how-to videos meant to play on the vending machine's front-facing screen. Digital + Retail Visual Toolkits, Social Content (lifestyle photography + video), Seeding Kit Times10 was tasked with creating a campaign rollout for the adidas Hardcourt shoe, in conjunction with Foot, Inc (Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Champs Sports, and Footaction). Our team developed a creative direction that embodies adidas's REAL, RAW, FAST approach to content creation and the Home of Classics (the imprint to which Hardcourt belongs) mantra: 'Made with care, worn without.' The campaign taps into the creative and inherently crossover mentality of today's youth culture, encouraging our audience to cultivate ALL of their unique passions and to 'Write Your Own Rules.' We built content around fresh, relatable faces captured on-the-go&nbsp;with a mix of hard-flash digital and film photography.
